In 2018, 400 shelters were installed in municipal recycling facilities for the collection of lamps and tubes. These metallic shelters, accessible to all consumers, have a cover and a glass case to protect bulbs that are collected and to make handling the containers easier when they are collected. Being very visible, they are an effective communication space for ESR to guide consumers, who can dispose of tubes and lamps alone in a protected area, without having to contact municipal recycling facility wardens.
